+Joseph Percy Yea, she doesn't do hugs very often, she doesn't like touching due to being a germaphobe. On an occasion, she will give a hug before a show, before you get all hot and sweaty, but not very often. I can say that I was lucky enough to get a hug from her once, but only once out of all the times I've hung out with them. Usually it's just handshakes or fist bumps with her.

I remember when I was 14 and it was one of my first shows I had ever gone too. A local church in a town of about 2000 people and they played for 30-40 of us young adults and teens. It was so awesome, no lie!!!! When I heard that Icon had blown up, I was like, "woah." This is because they are from Decatur and Decatur is not a place that many artists come from, for reasons I won't elaborate. So glad they made it.

I like your song about the disrespectful status quo that women are pressured to adopt, I was raised exclusively by women, I get the perspective but I think conforming is a rule that bullies everybody. I am indie/alternative and in my music, it's predominately sung by women and it's not anything like your song. She goes up, does her job, makes money and provides for herself in most cases. My band is make and female fronted and I asked her her thoughts on what you said, it is not even a thought in our form of media. we don't listen to big name bands typically, we listen to the local acts. Anyways, we all know it exists in the sense of mass media but we chose our media because of our convictions. You are tough and strong, I give you credit, you worked into the mass media, I don't subscribe it to it because I am a local listener who loves indie/alternative and performs it. You are heard, I heard ya, I agree with you, you are great at your job, don't quit! You have beautiful lyrics and a great mind, we need more ladies like you. Your lyrics aren't disrespectful, that drew me in.
