GamingRisen You're right. Paramore started of with a pop-punk emo sound and switched towards a more pop-rockish sound in the last few years. Icon for Hire is definitely on the fine line separating metal and lighter genres like rock and punk... if they aren't metal to begin with. Light or heavy, neither is bad or good, it's all up to preferences. But yeah, Paramore is way less heavy than than Icon for Hire. Even in their old albums like Riot! and All we Know is Falling are lighter than IFH.

saw them yesterday. my car broke down twice (the second time the engine blew). had to run 3 miles, then take a cab the rest of the way. it was a 2.5 hour car ride WITHOUT breaking down. (so glad i left early). this band is amazing, and im so glad i heard about them a year or so ago. even though im out of a car now, im glad i saw them. i had SUCH an amazing time. this song is so good, and it sounds even BETTER live.

My friend took me to see them. I had no idea who they were at the time but I'm glad I went along. They are so much better live! If you can, keep track of their tours. Maybe you can see them the next time around. Definitely worth the money.
