I can relate to this song in so many ways. I'm at the domestic violence survivor. I have no contact with the person who abused in marriage. I'm glad I left. It took all my strength I had. I like what she says about not being a violent person but I saved all my Vengeance for you. So whenever someone hurts you over and over and over again and beats you down, Then you leave you still have to face those demons of your past, not a physical person. This touches deep. Helps you stop running scared and you come face-to-face with your trauma and handle it and let it go.

Um... Anyone notice the sign that said "Fight or be taken out alive" at 0:49-0:50? As in: "Standing on the edge, am I better off dead? How could I forget that I'm better than this? I've come to far to fade tonight Fight or be taken out alive" - "Fight" by Icon For Hire on Scripted If that is a reference, I'm all here for it! Let's go! It could add an extra meaning to this song, too, if you really think about it. Though, just like every other Icon For Hire song, this song is awesome no matter what Edit: Also, with the reference to this music video and therefore song at the start of their music video for their song "Shadow" on The Reckoning, it's just perfect. It makes it feel like they're all connected, which can connect to make a whole message. That's so awesome to me! Icon for Hire is just awesome!

This is the Icon for Hire I’ve been waiting on since I first heard Scripted. This was the direction I hoped you were going in back then.
