last month, Blackpool pleasure beach was the first and so far only theme park I've been to. I discovered that im terrified of rollercoasters lol. I couldnt bring myself to ride the big one twice, but i rode icon three times. there's just something about it. cant wait to visit Thorpe park and Alton towers.

It was my first time going to a roller coaster (ICON) i felt like i was gonna pass out. It was going so fast and felt like i was flying. Later on i got used to the roller coasters and went to avalanche twice , revolution , The Blue Flyer and Avatar bender. I went to more but they werent really scary was like horse riding. Was an amazing first experience to the rollercoasters. Queue was too big for icon and I had to go back to school to go home. Wish I went there again but I had to discover new rides 😂. Went on this for the first time last week and my word it has taken my number 1 spot. Lengthy, lovely bits off ejector air time and hang time on the inmalin and that zero g roll. Oh and the first launch loved it but the moment that second launch hit I felt like superman. Brilliant, snappy mack coaster. Round off applause for this ride

I was scared to go on loops and Inversion due to a rough experience on infusion but this ride was so smooth and gentle, i loved it and now ive realised i can do loops and inversions

That's the difference between a Vekoma SLC clone (there are loads around the world, they are old, cheap, and rough). And a brand new custom Mack multi-launch, which is a high end model from a very expensive manufacturer

I experienced this coaster for the very first time yesterday and I'm torn between with this and the Big One being my favourite. I got two rides on the Big One but quite uncomfortable the second time so one train must be better than the other. However, Icon is really smooth and it's just amazing. Looking forward to visiting Blackpool Pleasure Beach again soon 😁

Did it for the first time yesterday best coaster I’ve done the queue was walk on the the rest of the day so I was just doing laps on icon for the entire day and I think I did it close over 30 times with 2 rides on enso as well.

Icon is easily the best ride I’ve ever been on. Went on it twice and really wanted to ride a fourth time. The launch at the start is just amazing. Queues were incredibly short too, was barely one the first time I went on.

Funnily enough I'd kind of forgotten Icon has loops. I thought it had a bunch of almost upside downs which was going to prepare me for revolution later and maybe some others that I didn't end up doing in the end... Well safe to say when I saw the loop coming up ahead there was no choice. Icon made me a bit unwell afterwards but I still enjoyed it.

I went on it twice today and I'm TERRIFIED of rollercoasters...I went on this the first time but because it's so fast you dont really have time to react to how scary it is etc..and the second time I went on I LOVED IT..I would def recommend..coming from someone who hates rollercoasters aha

can anyone tell me how intense and sickly this ride is? i get sick on fairground rides such as waltzers quite easily however usually im okay with theme park rides. i went on smiler at alton towers last year and was fine however previously went on a waltzer and felt ill. im not sure if my tolerance has went down but i havent been on a theme park rollercoaster for a while so not sure if im still fone with them. how sickly / intense is this ride? is it relatively gentle compared to others?
