This is an exceptionally beautiful build. All the colors and details really work together. I can never get over how lovely that suspension looks with the currie being the cherry on top.

No problem on the geeking aspect, geek on, brother Jonathan. The ICON crew does themselves proud and allows your excess.

Johnathan, I don't think it can ever be said enough that your passion for all the "little stuff" makes for the absolutely fantastic and bulletproof product that you produce. Those of us who appreciate your "geek" thoroughly enjoy listening to you speak about connectors, clamps, and wiring that separate you from most builders that you can find today. You have perfected building specific vehicles that are so definitely purpose built to handle anything the timid or the brave can dish out... Thank you for your attention to detail and your perseverance. I'm hoping that one day I will be able to join the ICON family... I'm anxiously awaiting the next build...

I love the contrast of white and blue. Especially this blue. I love woven leather seat inserts. Don't even understand why it just looks clean and yet luxurious. I dig the fact that you do alternate patterns for each build. It's the subtle details that make these trucks stand out. I hadn't noticed the difference in lighting between old and new school. I do enjoy the extra facts, I guess I'm a geek for information and find myself glued to the screen when you're talking about each one. I could listen all day. Cheers.

Hi Jonathan, I'd love it if you spent one episode telling us about the braking system and perhaps, another episode telling us about the polyurea coating on the floor and the dynamat and then another episode with a deep dive into your thinking and the materials you use in the wiring harness.... I absolutely love your attention to detail but I'd like to find out your thoughts behind the materials and the Pros and Cons of using the materials that you use. Rolling Works Of Art that are built to be used.... But how and why? Thanks for your work, it's inspiring 😁👍

One of these days I’d like to see Icon build a Bronco with a blueprinted and balanced 302 mated with a manual gearbox. Pretty por favor mi amigo.

Lovely. I’ve been watching your builds even back when you focused on Toyota Land Cruisers over on Oxnard Street. While I love the 5 speed, some of us oldsters with shot knees would love an 8 speed ZF transmission if it can bolt up to that Ford V8.

Jonathan, I am a geek too and just love hearing about all the little details that make an Icon an Icon. In fact that is one of the reasons that I look forward to your videos, I am listening for new tidbits. I also think it helps people understand your attention to the little thinks and goes a long way toward helping us understand the value of an Icon. Also, whose idea was it to change the lighting in the new Broncos to cool white?

You asked for feedback so here is mine. I am curious with the high horsepower and relatively large tires if the Dana 44 is sufficient for the abuse someone may put it through by using it offroad. Also why not a Ford 9 inch or 8.8 axle to keep the whole thing Ford based? Also what kind of gearing do you use in the axles? Although I doubt if you are spending this kind of money if you are taking it rock crawling.
@RS-gh2mf6 ай бұрын
We decided to build Ford 9 inch on our Bronco's. It only made sense to have a stronger 9 in the front.
