Tossing the leaf springs and replacing with struts, essentially, it appears! Leaves room for a little more rubber afoot and a tighter turning radius? The IH Scout restorations might follow suit; Nah

As a lover of Hudsons, I'm very disappointed that you didn't keep the stock Hudson shift knob. Your mix of stock mixed with modern technology is normally well done. It could definitely be replaced with a stock one. A brown and tan one would look amazing. Hopefully you kept the stock steering wheel on your 37 Lincoln Zephyr.

I was a Mercedes tech most of my life, worked on many of these , and a few 600s, I really think you should have kept the 6.3, it’s insanely powerful and built so tough you could boost it to oblivion, the mechanical fuel pump is VERY adjustable for boost , just my opinion because it’s one of my favorite motors of all time, personally though it is all Chevy for me

The cost of the car given the detail and it being a one-off I think makes this as much as (if not more so) a work of art as it is a consumer product. Incredible build.

Detailed analyses and explanations of every facet of Icon design & execution are always captivating and enlightening. What a brilliant idea of seamlessly marrying 'Old Iron' with modern tech upgrades. The results are consistently stunning and imminently practical....Cheers! woody, Guam Island
