Me too. I sold my PS4 and get me a switch. What I love about the system is the fact you can play in handheld and also on the TV. And great games like Zelda and fire emblem 3 houses.

I still love those systems but starting up a game (excluding if there are updates) it takes a few min before your playing. And to many this might not seem like a big deal because whats another minute or so but if you have so little time those two minutes feel that much longer for some reason.

Switch is pretty dope. Perfect system for those that can’t dedicate too many hours in a gaming session. So gaming on the go is nice, but when you do have the time to invest some hours in, I like that option to dock and play on the big screen. Lately, Ori and the Blind Forest as my undivided attention. Such a beautiful game!

This is my issue as well. Life is busy, it’s hard to have enough time and money to support multiple consoles. I bring my Switch everywhere now and play when ever I can. Even gamed on my desk at work lol. The Switch is the perfect fit.

I actually fell off gaming, but the switch completely sucked me back in. I love the games for the system and I do love all the indie games that really get to shine on it One big plus for the switch for me compared to the ps4 is the zoom feature they recently added to it. If you double press the home button it zooms in. This is important for me because I am visually impaired, and this feature allows me to read comfortably rather than having to get super close to the screen. When this feature was released I was soooo happy! I’m glad you’ve been enjoying your switch Reggie! It’s great to see!

I never thought I get the Switch but I love playing certain RPGS on the go. I want to get more indie games and shooters. I have to get used to the way the Lite is set up since it is my first Nintendo unit I got since the DS Lite which I played the he’ll out of. I may be nearing 50 years old in 2021 but I love gaming in my free time and it helps me relax. Screw people that saying that video games rot your brain or causes violence remember the same news reporters that say also shows off the next big consoles and handheld gaming console.

Thus far, I am impressed with the offerings of the Switch, especially in light of the release of the NES and SNES titles available with their online feature. Add to that some quality games like Zelda: BotW (yes I know it's on WiiU as well) and Ultimate Alliance 3 and this was a no-brainer for my family.

I just got one recently aswell because of their E3 Nintendo direct hyped me up, And I felt like they had a roll of constant exclusives coming from that point and still are now! So I had to put aside money to get one. And I am STILL surprised right now how much I like it. Its honestly my favorite console over my PS4 and Xbox One S.

Same here, I didn't get my switch until later that year. I got the Splatoon 2 bundle since a buddy of mine got it and they were selling out like crazy at the time ( although a great game it doesn't interest me really but I'd like to try it it at some point because I still haven't). I believe I picked up Fire Emblem Warriors at the time along with the Wii U ports I already owned (Mario Kart, Bayonetta). It took me a long time to get interested in the system because to me there was no point, I picked up Breath of the Wild for both systems on launch day, the Wii U version and the special switch bundle I would play at some point when I got the system. But I never really played the switch at all until about late last year. Mostly been a Nintendo fan but got a PS4 and honestly that was occupying a lot of my time between that and 3DS and everything that I could do on the Wii at the time. But now my switch collection is pretty big I get a lot of mileage out of it, especially on breaks at work. There are a lot of good games on switch now and they're still coming.

The Switch got me back into gaming. Life got so busy that it became intimidating trying get back into it. Switch allowed to dip my toes while traveling / in between life that now I can appreciate and go back to the great games I skipped over the years. It’ll always hold a special place for me.

i am along the same lines as you Reggie, i was really hesitant on getting the switch and waited for a year after it came out to get one, my fiancee wanted one from day one, so 6 - 8 months ago when i bought her one she talked me into getting one for myself as well, yes i will admit that i slowly fell in love with it. For me it love the flexibility that the system offers ,i can play it docked, as a hand held, or put it on the table and play that way (and with me having back issues this is a blessing, because when i can't sit anymore or hold it as a handheld i can just take the joy-cons off and hold them and still play games.). i also enjoy a lot of the titles that have come out on the switch, and if i am being honest.. for me, until the switch came out, i wasn't a huge fan of indie games , but now that has totally changed and i enjoy a lot of the indie games much more than i thought i ever would. since we've owned our Switches in the last 6- 8 months , we have a total of 34 games combined, so while I won't say it's my primary system i will say it is even with my primary system (which is my green Xbox One S battlefield 1 bundle edition) . out of all the systems we have i play those 2 evenly, with my PS3 as my 2nd go to system , then tied for 3rd place is my Xbox 360 & my 2 DS XL , and so on through all my other systems

There is something special about having a system while new games are coming out and being able to have conversations and share experiences with other people. It's also pretty fun picking up something after it's dead and having a while library to dig into. Either way the switch is a win in my book

N64 was shit compared to ps1 and pc of the Era. There were a few good games but only 1st party mainly. As an adult of 21 at the time Nintendo still seemed rather kid centric back in the 90s. NES was the best before switch honestly as it had the biggest and most unique library. Glad you liked N64 though we all have different tastes.

I have two 3DS XLs and a Switch. I love my Switch and it is my main console. Have a huge backlog of games too and I don' know how to tackle that. :)

The Switch is pretty much my main current gen console, mainly because it's the only one I currently own, I was planning on finally getting a PS4, and was trying to save up enough for the PRO, but the Switch had already been out for a few months at that time, and my little bro got one day 1, and seeing him playing it and having the fun he was having with it made me want one, so I decided to use the money I had saved up, for a Nintendo Switch instead, and the 2 first games I got for it were Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Super Bomberman R, and I've been having a pretty good bit of fun with it ever since, though it pretty much stays docked with me, I still got my PS Vita for on the go.

What I dig most though are the games and the fact that a ton of them are physical or in the process of getting a physical edition, shout out to Limited Run who has gotten alot of my money!!! Yeah I'm with you man, it has really surprised me. Of course I wanted to play BotW but until Mario Odyssey was released I didn't think I needed a Switch. Most of the games were multiplayer stuff like Splattoon which I've just got zero interest in. I bought the Mario Odyssey bundle for myself for xmas a couple years ago and it has just really won me over. I used to be a very hardcore, 8+ hours a day in front of the couch/PC type gamer, but I'm much more casual now. The kinds of games that come out on switch are more for that audience, and for nostalgia, but none of that is a dig. Like you said about Bloodstained, it sold the best on Switch, because that's where the Switch community is at.

I have a switch it is probably my most played system now. My PS4 was basically a Persona 5 machine and I don't have interest in FPS games anymore or most games that release today. Switch is an almost perfect gaming machine for its generation in which it was released. The joycon is my only gripe with the device. Also once you softmod it with Android or any custom firmware or even running Lakka for Retroarch or Ubuntu then the system really opens up to so many possibilities for enjoying more games/homebrew.

I remember that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night also was going to be on the Wii U as a stretch goal (which was met) for the kickstarter. That resulted in the switch version. "Hello, this is IGA. Thank you for always supporting us. I would like to give a message to the backers who pledged for the Wii U version of Bloodstained. During our Kickstarter campaign, the Wii U was at the height of its popularity, but the situation has drastically changed after the release of Nintendo Switch. This change made it difficult to receive the necessary support from the hardware maker, which has led us to drop the Wii U development and shift the development to Nintendo Switch. " I partially regret getting the switch version after seeing the other versions looking way better, but I still had an awesome time with it. Overall, the switch is getting me back into portable gaming.

I find myself playing the Switch more than PS4. PS4 is more for exclusives but I'll get multiplatform games if they are very cheap. What I like also is the physical cartridge. The PS4 has to download the disc but the Switch carts don't need to be downloaded. And of course the portability. If I don't want to worry about the TV to play a few minutes, I just take the console out.

I do not have a switch yet but I’m about to get one since the switch lite came out. I’m actually going to get a new original switch instead. I have games for the switch and controller I just got to get the console. However I find myself collecting hard for the PlayStation 4 which I’ve actually only had for 2 years now, came late to that party as well. All the games I bought for my switch so far are also on the PS4 which I own, except for ultra street fighter II and psikyo collection vol 1 for my Saturn Dreamcast shooters. It’s a nice console but not one of the greatest. I look at it as the greatest convenient console ever made.

IF the first switch had had somewhere closer to modern specs, it would have been worth it, but it was too little too late, and the downgraded switch lite is even worse. The light is cool but I personally skipped it I didn't see the point of buying it even before I found out they technically didn't fix some of the main issues the switch OG has besides a better lasting battery and a screen that looks a little bit more crisp and I think that's because it's slightly smaller...

Looking back on this, you should do a video on your Nintendo switch collection. It's a great console and Iove it more than the 3DS and a lot of those games did saw light over to the switch but the controls on the 3DS does suck and the switch is just so much better

As a gamer you need the Trinity of Gaming. 1 REALLY GOOD PC, 1 REALLY GOOD Console (Hugs Playstations) and 1 REALLY Good Handheld. That is the Trinity of Gaming. I am currently playing. Dragon Quest Builders 2 on Switch, Surge 2 on PS4, and Pathfinder Kingmaker/Rust on PC. =)

That game is Cotton. I believe a remake is on the cards. Its a cool little shmup. My favourite in the series is Cotton Boomerang.

Switch is a secondary console for me this gen. My primary is PC then PS4. I like it`s portability, but I do not like the price point for many Switch games. Besides that I can not stand the joycons.

I already sold my 3DS. I’ve barely played it in the last few years and just felt like it wasn’t worth keeping for just two games I actually enjoyed on that system.

Love switch mentality. Less focus on graphics to Let the gameplay shine through. Need more emphasis on this from other consoles and developers.

PS4 is still my favorite but the Switch is a close second. Only things that annoys me collecting for the Switch is the red boring spine on which the titles are labelled.

I like uniform spines on games cases as you can actually read them easily, some games out there the spines are basically unreadable.

The joy con drift issue is potentially cooked up by nintendo wetting the mouths of current switch owners whove bought libraries of games, getting them thirsty for a new switch thatll drop in march.

Oh its won me over. I rarely play my PS4 due to it being oversaturated with Online and Call of Duty like games. I’m surprised that you can’t get into Super Smash Brothers?

What has put my off the Switch is the controller. I can't deal with it. How can I play a game like Dark Souls with anything but a proper, ergonomic controller? Besides that complaint, the console is a good one. Great library of games and great exclusives. Also, I've noticed that if a game is 'exclusive' to Xbox or PlayStation, it can usually be found on the Switch too. Nintendo has evidently kept it's head down during the console wars and is reaping the benefits lol.

DOUBLE LINE I feel Nintendo will come up with a much better Lite version in a year’s period. One that will output to TV. In the meantime my regular Switch is more than OK.
