The Brady Bunch house, which actually has much of the same interior of the show (not all, as the house actually has toilets) went for $3.2MM, and that is in a nicer area of Los Angeles, more in line with the rest of the neighborhood. A very nice area of a far, far better city. The Walter White house can only attract a cash buyer as the house cannot appraise for what they are asking. The house is more of an albatross than anything (google it). I'm good with being wrong, but I'm not, we can always have a good chat and laugh if it sells for anything close.

I’m not surprised they’re selling it because the owners were so unfriendly and annoyed with fans constantly stopping by. She said her mother never answered the door for anybody to begin with. It's about time. I've always wondered why the owners have continued to live there if it's so miserable for them? The home is overvalued because it's a tourist attraction and a beloved piece of television history. I don't know why people aren't comprehending that. Anybody willing to pay that kind of money is obviously looking to capitalize on the iconic nature of the home like HGTV did with the Brady Bunch house.

Petition the city to buy it, rezone or designate historic and assign it to the city's tourism and development offices to create a plan that will boost tourism, please Breaking Bad fans, and generate a little money for perhaps that neighborhood that will likely have their property taxes go up. The city doesn't manage things well. The city should buy it for $400k and tear it down and give those neighbors a bit of peace. These people know that the house has been an absolute hellhole and now they are pretending like it is worth 10x it's possible value.

I was on a road trip from the East Coast and was in ABQ back in April 2024 to see Breaking Bad sites and visited the house at about 5 pm, sure enough she and her husband are sitting in chairs in the yard. I took pics of the house from the car and got out of dodge before she could yell at me! 😂

I think the only people interested in paying this price tag would be investors who would turn it into a museum, air bnb, or give tours. It wouldn’t take long for them to make their money back. A regular family looking for a new house should stay far away from this one, given how much grief the owners have gone through since the show aired. Besides, I’ve been to this house, it’s nothing fancy.
