Because it was a well built gag that was running for YEARS.. and it was just a spontaneous phrase moment, not a freaking snatch game in FRONT of miss Rupaul herself xD I think if Trixie saw it as an opportunity to pay homage yet do some friendly reading at the same time (eg Gotmik's Paris) she could do great because she is very witty and thinks of jokes really fast... But she got reeeally lost in the character.
