Amira F I really hate to say it but there is such a difference in gay culture when it comes to black drag x every other drag. I mean it’s also prevalent in heterosexual culture between black men x every other men ( Hispanics being a mild exception) but there is such a swagger or vibe that black people have that is effortless and charming. And black drag queens are just EVERYTHING and I live for it. I noticed it in Shangela and Latrice...and then Jasmine Masters and Jaidynn Dior Fierce, Shea Coulee and Nina Bo Nina Brown and now Monique Heart, Monet X Change x The Vixen x especially Asia. There is just something different about their vernacular, their humor, their relationships with each other, it’s so different compared to the likes of Violet Chachki x Pearl or Max x Alaska. I love drag!
