Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed :) Carl used that rhythmic luck quite a lot, you might hear it in a few tunes but well picked!

Hot damn what an awesome lesson!!! Looking forward to the next one in the series as well, and I agree Elvis did some good stuff, so look forward to that! Congrats on the new camera. Have a good one Adrian and thanks for another quality lesson. 🤠

For me Elvis nr.1 but i think the King of Rock n Roll is Chuck Berry. Elvis is the King. TCB

@@Dennistcb78 - Chuck is the man. I finally saw him live and in person about a decade ago I reckon it was. Just love his music and his stamp on rock ‘n’ roll is all over so many of the things I like.

There’s a bit of a story about the camera, I’ll send you a message. It’s a new phone in fact, because my old one had a weird fit for about 24 hours and then returned to normal!

@@CC-qb9sm Adrian has great timing. When he posts a video it's for me 6-8 a.m. I have my good morning coffee Watch on KZbin and there's a new video. A morning without coffee is a bad morning🥺🥺 ☕☕😃🎸😃😃

Great lesson. When I was learning rockabilly there were all these great videos showing nice licks and I was always like that’s great for a lead line but what about the rhythm! Great work good sir

Cool story, I supported Robert Gordon in 2010 I think it was, and got to see Chris Spedding play, loved his playing- I will look at his stuff at some stage! Thank you!

@@AdrianWhyte Wow! That must have been amazing. What an experience! I really love listening to Robert Gordon. My favorite album with Chris Spedding on guitar is Bad Boy. Chris may use a bit more distortion and compression than most rockabilly players on this album. He has a real fat tone. He is fantastic with RG.
@AdrianWhyte2 жыл бұрын
@@ceickhoff ah! Funny you say that about more drive and compression- he uses PAFs either in a Les Paul or later in a 6120, so it’s quite possible you’re hearing the bigger sound (and more compressed sound) of those pickups! Could be pedals too but I couldn’t say!

Gotta be honest here... I've never been too big of a Bo Diddley fan. It amazes me how he became so famous, on the same rhythm, open tuning and not much vocal or playing skill. Thank God for Tremolo, huh?

All about vibe I reckon! He is toted as being the first to introduce the jungle rhythm!

Apologies because this is totally unrelated & random, but if you want your channel to take off in a BIG way, as in Silver Play Button, please consider doing a totally blind reaction video to Dimash Kudaibergen. I am a big fan, and he has a HUGE fan base on KZbin (his "Dears"). They seek out & highly value the opinions of professional musicians. Also, I personally would LOVE to hear your opinions on this man's talent, as you are skilled, eloquent, and possess a great sense of humor. Not to spoil it, but he is known for being the "Best Singer in the World." I will be sure to request again from Patreon, as soon as I'm able. Best video to react to: SOS Slavic Bazaar with English subtitles, the version from the official Dimash channel.

Hey! Apologies for the delay - I’m not too worried about growing my channel for the sake of it, I would probably rather stay in my niche and grow somewhat organically, but I do appreciate the idea and I will definitely checkout this Dimash character, he sounds phenomenal!! 😀
