The white paint in her body was a decision made by one of the makeup artists, so she could feel more confident to walk. Jessica Toress That is demonstrably false. You hate PETA because you think they’re obnoxious, and that’s your right. You don’t have to bend over backwards trying to make them out to be this evil organization though. Putting down “healthy pets” is part of why animal breeding and pet ownership aren’t exactly ethical. 3 million pets are euthanized in animal shelters every single year (PETA euthanizes about 1600-1700 pets per year) and 80%, or about 2.4 million, are healthy and adoptable. Animal homelessness is an issue with no easy solution. If models were walking around wearing your skin or your family’s skin you’d thank god for organizations like PETA.
