Such a beautiful plants. I do agree that Australia is lagging behind - there are so many incredible plants available world wide and yet not introduced to the Australian market. The newer ones that are available to the international markets have a shap that resembles like coral reefs. Very stunningly beautiful.

already got some on my list (Ridleyi) from eBay from him... Platycerum is massive in taiwan and asia... and his the only in Australia that sell anything resemble the stuff in Asia....

I have been gifted a very neglected platty and not knowing exactly if I have mounted it correctly onto a tree, I just hope I've done it the right way up. It also had an ant nest which we had to get rid of by soaking the whole plant in water. So crossing fingers

WTF ! . 1000 square meters is not a "normal suburban block" ! The average suburban block as of 2024 is less than 500 square meters.
