Tim from Canada again here is another suggestion if you were going to work on your cement floor put some sort of a tarp down or a piece of plastic you were going to reel on your cement if you’re going to do cement work put a tarp down so you do not destroy your cement floor or patio or driveway.. or whatever you were working on

A nice finishing for the outer surfaces is rubbing in some soil and then moss or lichens. Over a long period of time that is what would happen naturally, but you can accelerate it like that. Great idea to use the stool for shaping the corners, the most difficult parts of a rectangular shape.

Love this video, no long talks talks talks. Beautiful work (and music too). However, some comments or text would be very helpful for me. I like to know as I want to make about 10 of them for my garden: 1) what kind of cement mix to use, 2/ what stuff was spread on the surfaces that contact with cement ? (I guess it ensures that cement would not get "glued" to the plastic chair and the styrofoam).

I've seen something similar using a dry mix with snowcrete with a blend of sand and a fine aggregate. Saves having to seal the mould up and the mould is reusable with little prep.
