Go to Cebu island and see how waterfalls there should look like to be in a fairy-tale setting. You won't believe the color of the waterfalls there with their turquoise blue and clear water! Cebu is just an hour flight from Manila. Cebu has more than a hundred waterfalls with the same turquoise blue clear water.

While the waterfall itself is beautiful, it is disheartening that the management which charges entrance fees has been neglectful in keeping the place clean. Ang daming basura! Local authorities of Los Banos should be implementing environmental policies if they want to preserve their natural resources and encourage tourism.

If there's trash near and around the waterfalls, that's the responsibility of the local folks, the local government, and tourists alike. Looks like the waterfalls area is not a high priority among the residents and the local government...which is a shame.
