I realized in my 45th life as a Filipino, ang daming magagandang lugar dto sa Pinas na hindi ko kayang puntahan... Im now currently living in Dasmariñas City Cavite. And dto lng around Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Metro Manila and up to Baguio lng ung npuntahan ko, including Boracay, El Nido, Puerto Galera, to name all places ive been. I have fond memories of Mainit the town and Mainit lake itself, having studied at the Mainit National Agricultural School (MNAS) for 2years - from 1976 to 1977. Once, we tried catching pijanga - a fish species indigenous to the lake - using a tattered mosquito net. Amateur as we were, we netted only a few. It was fun though. At first, we stayed at a boarding house in Magpayang but later transferred to a makeshift hut inside the school campus, for free.
