I do one contract on Mini NQ on a $50k and I have patience and only take the absolute best setups. I know I’m over leveraging so that’s why I’m so selective on my trades. I traded micros the other day and took a couple more trades than usual and missed out on huge profits and got slammed in commission. That’s why I stick with mini NQ

Tbh if you start thinking in terms of dividing your 50k account into 8 trades so for example risking 300 to 400 a trade on your 50k funded. If your only picking the right setups and following your plan and taking 3 to 4 trades a week you will be profitable. Also only looking at 1 pair

Good job bro, Idk which prop firm you're trading but my experience they took the account from me as soon I lost 3% of account, the rules was if you lose 10% of account they would take the account away from you, but they said I over leveraged and shouldn't have risked more than 1% Which I absolutely didn't but they made excuses and I understood what was going on,So My advice to you don't ever over leverage they're just looking for an excuse to take the account away from you because they make most of the money on traders failing the challenge

I don't really get it. If you risk the same percentage or a range of risk for example 0.5 - 1% depending on the setup, your risk is going to be in control. Even more if you use break even as part of your strategy, you don't even lose money, and if you do is negligible. So I don't get it why he is so strict with the plan. Regardless if you trade 1K account or 1M account if you have a good psychology (applying proper risk management) you should be fine.
