@@sarveshtheinventer6988 I think you should increase the value of capacitor but you might be able to use same transistor. Please check datasheet of that transistor to obtain it's max volt handle

That's a simple design, if you add a 2way or 3 way crossover and divide the LED tower the lights would respond to frequency not just volume

Next one you make needs to filter the high mid and low range one for each channel!! Wouldnt be to hard, just need to isolate frequency / filter it and then use that new signal for one of the 3 LED channels, Either way cool build!

too much bass. not that that is a bad thing. A nice, simple IC free solution, though it looks like the red LEDs aren't getting enough current. That, or they are just really, really dim compared to the other LEDs. That circuit diagram helped to force me to realize the purpose of all those 1N4148 diodes as I was wondering where the IC or extension wires where when you began to seal the box. Nice build.
