My lids are so hooded that I don't have visible outer corners! But ME After 60 works as a thick upper-lid liner, if applied over a good primer (like Milani), and it can be smoked out a bit onto the middle of the lid, too. I also like that shadow smudged on the lower lids. Since a bunch of us probably use My Savior every time, perhaps SG could release it as a single!
@virginiabrayton736210 ай бұрын
Oh my gosh!!! I was thinking the same thing about SG releasing some of Mary’s colors as singles. My Savior is my go-to all over lid color. I can’t find any other shade that can copy what that color does on my skin. I can actually use ME After 60 very minutely on my outer corner. Never thought I could use a black on my lids. But it works! I don’t know how Mary described the making of this color or how Sydney Grace developed it, but it works for me and I love it! Will try Milani’s primer. Thanks for the ideas. ❤

Hi Mary I love a silver smokey eye. It’s a go to night out look for me - the inner rock chick is still going strong even if outwardly I’m a little tamer in my everyday look 😂. People are weird about surgery and procedures. The last time I was in the US I was 34 (I’m 52 now) and in Las Vegas. I got asked for ID everywhere and couldn’t buy a drink or a cigarette without my passport. One woman on viewing my passport asked me what work I had done and who my Doctor was. I have never ever had any injectables, procedures or surgery on my face (just a ton of skincare since I was a teen). I told her no work, but just a lifetime of sun avoidance and skincare - I am ultra pale, burn then turn white again and get prickly heat so I have naturally avoided getting a lot of sun (even before we knew what we know now ie daily spf). It quite frankly amazed me at the time that someone firstly thought I had and secondly would ask a complete stranger. Here in the UK social niceties are a bit different and we consider it really rude to do such a thing😂. Back eighteen years ago plastic surgery for vanity was very unusual here anyway and confined to the people we see in magazines aka the rich and famous 😂. It certainly wasn’t a thing most people had access to. Now at 52 I won’t need to carry my passport around and would be really worried about the eyesight of someone asking me for ID😂. I fly on the 27th to the US again, so it’s been a long time since I was there. Best wishes x Ps my hooded eyes have a lot of wiggly skin too and I had to adapt how I applied eyeshadow a long time ago too x
@GlitzyFritzy10 ай бұрын
I just love you...gosh years past...well heck I personally would still find it rude if I was out in public and a complete stranger asked me what procedures I'd had done LOL but I get you and what you are saying. I was just telling ShyGuy last night...he say a performer and turned to me and said do you think her hair is real and I said I'm sure it's probably human hair but if you want to know if it's growing out of HER head...I doubt it. And then I started thinking about the % of people that we see in public that most likely wear some sort of hair that isn't actively growing from their own head LOL I think it's personally fine if that's what you want to do and I've done it plenty myself but I also thought it was important that when somebody said "your hair..." that I said "thank you...it's a wig" or "thank you it's hair extensions" because I don't want that person to think that they are in some way inferior if you follow what I'm trying to say ;) Not saying everybody should but I appreciated knowing that when I was in that place as well.

Great tutorial Mary, look at you showing off your skills with your beautiful palette! I love, love, love the eye look. It looks simple enough when you do it but watch me F@#% it up! Side note i went to order your palette and i was confused as it wanted me to choose light, medium which was not available or deep…. What’s that for? Soooo, I didn’t get it till i can hopefully get some clarification from you. Go Mary, you rock!
@GlitzyFritzy10 ай бұрын
I went and looked, and I don’t know what that medium is all about because there’s no such thing as a medium. There is only light and deep. I mostly use the light. 😘
