Thanks for doing this ! As somebody with an ID3 I just lived with a front facing dashcam that uses the rain sensor ; but I dont understand why on earth VW and others dont pre install these kind of things at the factory - id certainly pay for the option!

17:55 If I understand you correctly you have the cable just under the trim? On the inner side of the A pillar? If this is how you done it you should immediately rewire this since the airbag goes a bit down the A pillar and your cable will be in its way when the airbag is needed.
