Can you recommend another modelists on KZbin which you have seen?
@idaemonplasmo5 жыл бұрын
Yes sure. I really like all modelers on youtube because it really matters showing techniques and approaches. I will see if next year will not be shot down by coppa law. :-D Lebron's Miniatures. He is making ships model or sculpting figures. For example, the 1/350 Tirpitz with insane details is mind-blowing. Then Scale-a-ton One of the best aircraft models on youtube. I really like the airbrush skills. I can not forget luke towan. I am not a big fan of huge dioramas, but he is making extraordinary models. One of the best AFV modelers in the world. Martin Red Kovac from night shift. I know him from local scale-modeling magazines and books. And artist Bayin Wu Studio. I rally like waht he making with colors and he has beautiful dioramas. And many others. andy hobby headquarters - AlexModeling - Quick Kits - Scale Hangar 182 - ScaleModelAircraft - Tom Grigat - inner nerd - Fine Scale Modeler - and many others. I hope you like some other channels also.

I bought some masking fluid once,8 bucks for a little bottle! Played with it a couple times to figure it out,wasn't bad. Used it on a passenger ship(forget which one) and didn't remove it at once to check the results. Finished painting whole thing,took it off and it did almost the exact same thing. Had to redo the whole paint job. I threw that little bottle as far as I could over the back fence into the woods behind our house. Never used any again. I feel for you.

You Sir are the master of airliner models, fantastic work! And you prove that modelling of airliners is by no means boring. Airliners are only clean when leaving the paint hangar. Afterwards they weather like any other aircraft. So ALL airliner models need some form of weathering, even if you build a shiny new A350. So you got it perfect for an old aircraft. Not looking like something rotting in a graveyard, but also not shiny new. Really a wonderful paint job, and modelling. Can't wait for that cargo aircraft model you hinted at :-)

Thank you for positive comments. and I am glad that it is interesting even for not airplane fans. I am also not a super fan of commercial airplanes but a lot of people asked me to make another one. I was struggling with this one and make a lot of mistakes but learned a lot agin. Actually I was not a fan of cars but after a few finished models and when I learn how to make them I found them very interesting, funny and straightforward. So I assume the same with airliners. :-D
