I read a comment on reddit and someone explained that in regards to the woke Hollywood stuff, they wish to be treated like people and not a quota. For example, them looking for a mostly gay female of colour cast for a specific agenda like some damn check list. Perhaps the same can apply to LGBTQ+ folks becoming disillusioned. On the upside, a free beer for dressing how I usually do? count me in! 😁

I know this is a different issue, but it is a similar mentality. There is a pub (and others business) where I live with CASH ONLY signs outside. I love the pushback. Check out Cornwall. They have genuinely set up a parallel economy. For real.. and all done within existing rules. Do our American friends know that they can change their status from citizen to national. The word is changed on their passport, and they are not allowed to use their post code (it's a federal thing). When they've changed it they have all the same rights... nothing changes, except 1 thing. They are no longer liable for any federal taxes or subject to federal edicts. I've seen a few Americans over the years thar have done it. Mad eh! Can drive anywhere, live anywhere, the passport is no different than a citizes. So nothing of that sort changes. Only 1... no 2 things... NO tax but no post code ❤ from Northeast England ❤️

Gays always had equal rights to straights. Marriage was the right to marry the person of the opposite sex of your choosing. Gays had that right from the start. Many gays did marry people of the opposite sex, in the 80s & 90s politicians where forever getting caught cheating on their wives with other men. Gays have always been subject to the exact same laws as straight people, it was never about equal rights, it was a fight for special rights.
