I'm into my secong year of trying to catch a "Bull". I just got back from Stanely area yesterday and still no bull. Lots of whites, Bows and Cutts but no Bulls. Gorgeous but the search continues. Thanks for the video and keeping the dream alive. New sub!

Dumb question do they not die after spawning like salmon. Are they coming from the ocean?

No, they return back to the large rivers and lakes that they spend the rest of the year in. They’re entirely freshwater fish.

All kinds really! In fact a large part of bull trout’s diet when they are up in these smaller rivers consists of terrestrials and stonefly nymphs are often used to catch them! Thanks for watching!
