Will this paint bond to bare wood? (Cedar shingles) I am looking for a primer to help with peeling/alligatoring. I’ve scraped and sanded, there is a lot of bare wood exposed. Just wondering if this will do the job or if I should go with an oil base primer. Thankyou

quick question if you drive in nails on the fascia board how do you fill the nail holes. Is it better to use caulk or some sort of wood filler?

Do you have a video how to prep cabinets before paint. I didn't do a good job last time

I personally use a 220 grit sandpaper. And clean the cabinets with TSP with warm water. Or Any degreeser to take the grim off. Then I personally use a shellac primer. Bonds really well. Then your choice of urethane alkyd paint on top with a fine finish tip.

I so enjoy your videos, I have a question in regards to the painting company. I’m about to use in Dallas Texas .they gave me two estimates one is for one coat of paint and the other is for two coats of paint . Is that normal?? Thanks

How many coats is irrelevant. I has to be applied to proper specifications and proper mil thickness. Selling two coats is a gimmick.

You can stuff big gaps with a piece of cardboard or plastic wrapper or anything really and then calk.

backer rod. it's sold for this purpose pretty much anywhere e.g. home depot. If you just fill a crack with a gallon of caulk it will take forever to dry and will shrink like crazy.
