Hi Marcus, nice flight of the Fimi X8 SE 2022, thanks for sharing. While I love flying my DJI Mavic 3 and Autel EVO lls, I really enjoy flying my Fimi X8 SE 2022 V2 drone. It's a great drone that always makes me smile. It's powerful and has many great features for a medium priced consumer drone.

I love the Fimi X8 SE V2. It's a tank and when flying it, it just laughs at the wind. Very responsive on the sticks and love the precision landing of the Fimi's. DJI needs to add that to all their drones. Great video and thanks for showing us beautiful places to fly. I'd like to see the reservoir when it's full! Great work Marcus.

I am watching this from Germany and love the landscapes you capture in your videos. The fimi is a very fun drone. Its not perfect like DJI but it cost only a fraction of it. I got it used for 200 dollars with 3 Batteries. Its an amazing drone!

Yes Bill wait for a sunny calm day for your first flight. Pick an open area. You'll find it very easy to fly. Not to make you nervous or anything Bill. Good light with the new Fimi X8. And it’s nice to see they have improved it and works out some issues. Nice spot to fly, but I did notice the video looked over exposed, which might be due to large aperture on the lens. Great video Marcus, and thanks for sharing.

Hi Marcus, nice flight and video. Last time you flew here it was snow on the ground. Kind of hard to tell, but it looks like that Fimi has a larger footprint than Mavic 3 or is about the same.

The Autel Evo Lite plus is far superior to the Fimi X8 SE. You will like the Autel drone.

Great video. I think you said one time that you got a permit to fly on Army Corp properties. How did you go about that? I tried to get permission to fly at a Army Corp reservoir here and was not successful.

Hi Marcus, nice flight. It was a beautiful day at the reservoir. Note : Fimi is creating the video with a variable bit rate, and that is the reason you are seeing some stuttering in the video. Converting the video to constant bit rate will eliminate that stutter. Thank You !
