I purchased and downloaded your M4P cheat sheets and then accessed the instructions for the Mobile Version. The instructions simply said "you can transfer those jpg files to your phone's camera roll". I tried working with that and so far have found no straightforward way of transferring the contents (37 jpg images) from either my PC or the Gumroad app to my iPhone camera roll for use in the field where I would be flying the drone. I am going to need a bit more instruction than what was provided or a refund. Thanks in advance for additional assistance.

One extra supertip about cruisecontrol: when in cruisecontrol you can adjust the movement of the drone with the sticks and then “update the cruisecontrol” by pressing cruisecontrol again, thus adding that new movement to your existing cruisecontrol …
@TheDroneCreativeАй бұрын
This is a great tip! Thanks for sharing!

You can stack cruise moves i.e. forward(cruise), then up(click cruise), then like turn left(click cruise), when you cancel it cancels all your cruise moves

Spotlight Cruise Control is the best Tip I have learnt today, Thank you so much

Awesome video. I'm new to droning but I think I might have a little tip for night flying. So CAA requirements are that you need a green flashing light on your drone when flying at night, which the mini 4 pro has. However, when you hit record the strobes stop working - DJI say to stop any interference with the shot. However, that would then mean that your drone is not visible under CAA conditions. Also, if you fit even the smallest strobe to your drone it will then put it over the 250g mark but more importantly I have been told it will deem it as modified which means you can't fly closer than 150 mtrs to buildings or people. BUT - If you get some translucent green tape and put it over the light at the bottom of the drone (we know stickers are ok as most of us use stickers for our operator ID), select the landing light to be always on and then select the C2 button on your controller to switch landing light on or off. That will mean that whilst you are recording you can manually press this light on and off (flashing) the CAA did not specify the timings of the flashes. It will be a flashing green light. Then when you have finished filming your night shot you can stop recording and your strobe lights will come back on. Allowing you to film at night. Am I right or is there a far simpler way?

One more tip is that you can combine Spotlight with Cruise Control, automating even more movements, and allowing additional stick input for more complex movements. Plus you can continually update Cruise Control for new movements as needed, and can still add manual stick movements along the way. Great video, thank you!
@Nathaniel13095Ай бұрын
I thought I had done that in the past, but lately it doesn't work. Has the new update changed something?
@Nathaniel1309529 күн бұрын
Now I realize: You can use Spotlight with cruise control only when Spotlight is in position mode, not when it is tracking a moving object. So you have to draw the box, then move the drone until the tracking box changes to a position marker. Only then can you engage autopilot.

Great Video! I've been experimenting with using cruise control and the left joy stick to yaw the drone left or right at a steady, smooth rotation. This allows me to record a 360 panoramic video of the landscape I am flying in. The cruise control allows me to avoid the jerks and unsteadiness that can bedevil a shot that takes 30 to 60 seconds. PLEASE continue to do more of these types of videos.

This is such a great way to use the cruise control feature! I definitely overlooked it at first, but I've since realized how powerful and useful it can be!

Thanks for another great video. Just ordered the cheat sheets (and the mini 4 pro ones). Going to print them, get them laminated and keep in my camera bag. As a relatively new drone user I often forget about all the features/settings and find myself out and about trying to view your videos on YT to get the answers - these will be a game changer.

You do such an excellent job! Your split screens and graphics are PERFECT. Demonstrating both a “mistake” and the “solution” is, as you say, “super helpful.” 😊😊 Q: Can one use “cruise control” to hold two stick directions? Example: pull back and rise simultaneously, and then hit cruise control? Or maybe rise and gimbal movement?

Would you let me know if this works? DJI told me that it’s not something their drones do while trying to order a new drone just to have this ability
@khiw24 күн бұрын
What I find very practical as an accessory for the Smart Controller is the retrofittable cover from Sunnylife. It provides good glare protection, you can hang the remote control around your neck, the display is protected and, best of all, you don't have to fiddle with the joysticks. They can remain attached to the remote control when stowed in the bag because they are protected by the cover.
@TheDroneCreative24 күн бұрын
That sounds super handy! Being able to keep the joysticks attached without worrying about them getting pushed out of position and causing stick drift when packing the controller away is such a great benefit.

Great video. One detail you forgot to say on the radar is the round dotted line are to show the distance of the drone relative to the remote. 5 10 15 20 meters. And about the blue line if you are flying in high wind, the positioning of the line can give you a clue of the wind direction. Therefore you can plan your route in a different direction. Specially if the batteries are draining out.

Regarding Cruise Control: there's something that I make use of that wasn't mentioned in the video: you can add supplemental movement input after having initiated a cruise control. For example, I move forward slowly and then lock it into cruise control. After about a minute, I want to start panning right a bit while continuing forward, so I add a slight amount of right yaw. Then, I hit cruise control again resulting in the drone continuing to move forward, but now with a slight yaw/pan to the right.

Great video! I’ve never tried spotlight mode but I’ll have to do it now. I’ve tried similar maneuvers manually previously and they’re quite tricky. This should certainly help. As for cruise control.. again I’ve never tried it. The problem I’ve got with my Mini 4 Pro is that I have the C1 button allocated to switching the light on/ff (I like it! 😃) and C2 rotates the camera of course. However.. I have just bought an Air 3S. and I’ve allocated its C1 to cruise control. Just tried it indoors and it works. Can’t wait to try it properly outside 😃 Thanks Steve
