It replaces the stock amp it says ? But don’t you still need an aftermarket amp to power the stereo ? This powers the speakers as well ? It sounds like it does but I have a feeling that wasn’t the intent .

What's the output voltage on the RCAs when at full volume? Can I safely install without a multimeter and distortion detector?

What provides the remote turn on for the aftermarket amplifier? It appears like only rca outputs go from dsr1. How does the aftermarket amp know to power on? Is there something I should look for in an aftermarket amp for compatibility with dsr1?

I would just connect the remote turn on to a fuse that only comes on when the key is in the on position

One more thing to add, its because i searched and can't find the speaker wire coming out of my stock unit, search everywhere but can't seem to find the matching colors coming out of my stock head unit

Just picked one of these up with the aFO2 t-harness for my 2015 Ford Focus ST with the stock sony system. The factory Sony system is horrendous. Ive got 2 Audiocontrol amps going in with this, a kicker sub, and 2 sets of component Memphis speakers being installed in about a week. Im beyond excited.

Installed the DSR-1 today. No output. 500ohms across all 4 channels for the CAN bus to be satisfied. I have Can bus communication to the device and can communicate via Bluetooth just fine. But no output.. Any thoughts or ideas? 2017 Dodge Challenger Hellcat with Harman Kardon amp. Maestro tech support is out of ideas and I'm waiting for Rockford Fosgate to get back to me at this point.

I have a 2018 ford mustang ecoboost shaker premium 9 speaker sound system with no Subwoofer. Can I use this with my setup and can I add a Subwoofer to go with it and what channel amp do I need.

I have a 2018 Harley davidson Rpad Glide , and i installed the DSR1 along with a DIAMOND amp and the entire front channel wiring harness. I bridged my 4 channel amp up front only to my 2 front fairing speakers on my bike. I'm also running the HERTZ Mille PROX 165.3 6.5' inch speakers to each speaker. My question is about the DSR1 hookup to my bike battery. I ran the power cables thru the front fairing slot all the way down the wiring channel to the battery which is underneath my seat. My question is this: I was told to run an inline fuse of the DSR1 and run a ground and a seperate yellow wire (+) and hook that up to my battery for the DSR1 fuse. How do I connect skinny 18-22 gauge wires to my battery alongside my power cables which are 8AWG? In other words, where on the battery terminal do I connect the DSR1 inline fuse wires, they are really thin!

Yes use the DSR1 and the ADS HRN-AR-CH2 T HARNESS so it is plug and play. I just finished my 15 ST, works great.

You need a different harness the one he said is for a Jeep or Chrysler
