Easy Old-school Layered Cake
Here we go …
The Indonesian Old-school Layered Cake is here …
Although it looks pretty advanced at first glance due it’s box’s packaging, but I promise, it’s definitely not as complicated as you imagine.
Because thanks to the Klakat type steamer which is large in size at about 40 cm. I can freely steam up to 16 boxes in one go.
It’s easy to make because you only need to just pour and around.
Okay … here’s the recipe, hopefully this one is useful for you.
Ingredient
Ingredient A
* 130 ml or about 2 sachets of ready-to-use Thick Coconut Milk;
* 1600 ml of Water;
* 500 gr to 600 gr Granulated Sugar, to taste;
* 1 tsp Fine Salt;
* 1 tsp Liquid Vanilla, replaceable with 1 tsp Vanilla powder.
Ingredients B
* 500 gr Tapioca Flour;
* 250 gr Rice Flour.
// Note: For a softer texture, please use a comparison of 400 gr Tapioca Flour with 350 gr Rice Flour.
Coloring
* Food coloring: Red or Pink, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple.
* 1 tsp white coloring, optional.
Packaging
Thinwall Box @ 200 ml or 250 ml.
Make sure to use the PP 5 quality one.
