I found my this PC in my attic. I bought it in the early 2000s.. I'm trying to pull the drive to see whats on it. Why in gods name are you still using this PC??? Lol my raspberry PI has more computing power!! Anyway thanks for the video!!

Why do you have to be grounded if the computer is unplugged?

The PSU can still give you a shock

@@samgray49 after unplugging the pc you can hold the power button for 5 seconds and it releases the remaining power stored in the power supply and should not get shocked after

It's not for protecting you from shocks. Being grounded is to protect the computer and prevent you from giving the delicate microchips unintentional electrostatic discharge zaps. (It's like when you rub your feet on carpet and touch someone, and they get a zap... You don't want to accidentally zap a microchip. Being grounded will prevent that).
