A simple, well made, reliable tool! I’ve had the basic stripper for many years. 👍❤️

Couldn't agree more Ron. I'm just about to replace my original 45-121 which I've used for over 30 years! The new one should see me out :-) They are just the best darn wire stripper and that's a fact.

Hi Mike thanks for watching the channel. If you got 30 years out of those wire stripper you did well. Are you biting that guitar? Ron

Yes, I am biting that guitar neck, it's the only way to stop them playing bung notes, you've got to catch them in the act, then CHOMP!....(or maybe I'm just a vampire guitarist :-) )

@@RonKipperDatacomm1 the 45-124 stripper cuts the stranded 10awg insulation perfectly!!!! Still not sure why the other version did not. Thank you very much.

Very good strippers better than the wire gauge identification so best to check a piece before stripping loads of connections. avoid steel or stainless unless you want to damage them. I have had a pair for over 30 years and they still work good.

Andrew I would agree stick to our T-Stripper line they are the best. Ron

Ron I been using Klein for a long time and I just got a new pair... I went to make a loop for a receptacle and the stripper twist .... I think need to try the ideal brand next time around

Hopefully Ideal continues to work on quality control. I picked up a T-6 wire stripper back in October, initially drawn in by the ergonomics, but it's so disappointing that 18awg stranded slot isn't machined well. I have to move up a gauge to strip cleanly and it's been like that out of the box.

what do you advise in order to strip telephone conductors (the red, green, yellow & black wires) inside Bell wire (cable) or quad cable/wire as it's sometimes called ... the conductors are probably 24 AWG in size.

+Rocket Rider Hey Rocket Rider a T-Stripper like our 45-121 has stripping holes that go that low. Phone guys use their snips 35-088 which have little notches for stripping phone wire. I would not recommend your teeth but you would not be the first............

Didi in the US you can buy our products from retailers like Home Depot or electrical supply houses. You can find them online as well from multiple suppliers. Not sure where you are located. Ron
