Fantastic video. I have this model laptop and its a must to upgrade from single to dual channel memory, I went from the standed 8gb to 32gb (16gb each slot 4800mhz ddr5) and its a beast now. The improvment in all games is night and day seen as much as 60 fps gains in some games and no tearing or stuttering in newer games.

@@ThomasS.H Sorry about your pc brother, on the upside the laptop is fantastic no issues at all since I have updated the ram. When I was running the 1 8gb stick I had 3 blue screens thats when I was playing world of warcraft, with 2 tabs open and discord, the other was having 5 tabs open 2 of which was youtube guides. Since upgrading I have been playing Baldur's gate 3, on ultra settings at a steady 120 fps. also have 10+ tabs open. I have to say do yourself a favour and get the ram and get the screwdriver set he has in the info. way worth the money make the laptop super easy to get into. I upgraded mine in 10 mins it was that fast to do mate. I would also buy an anti static wrist band if you cant ground yourself fully. I got the Crucial DDR5 32gb (2x16) kit. honestly mate you will see instant improvments, On WOW I got 40 more fps. on COD I got 52 more fps, Fallout was maxed at 120 fps never dropped. on Starfield on all high settings never dipped below 60 fps.

⚠ WARNING. This video doesn't show the most important thing to do. You need to turn off the internal battery in the BIOS or simply disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard before you touch internal parts.

When installing the metal cover you have to be very careful. I powered my laptop down but when the cover slipped and touched the motherboard it sparked and smoked. On my motherboard there were components directly next to the ram slots. I was lucky and nothing broke, but be careful and maybe diconnect the battery.

@@Godfatherhemanth2369 sorry for late reply but i have the same model and i have had it for 3 months and its wonderful and there is alot of things i like about this laptop well like the conservation mode how it works is that it stop battery from ageing and if your late for somthing and need laptop to fast charge theres a mode called rapid charge it works really good but i dont reccommend keeping it on always and if your a more of a work guy but you work you might need to do few optmizations for the battery to last but from my point of view if your a student and on a budget buy it its really good and add more ram for better preformance

Thanks, I just upgraded to 64GB (2 x 32GB 4800 MHz Crucial) and so far working ok. Got scare at first becuase the screen remained black for a while, but after 2 minutes maybe, it turned on normally. I have the Ryzen 5 7535HS model.

The next question is that I want to install an SSD hard drive, does the size of the hard drive matter if it is 2242 or 2280 or 2288? Or do all M2 socket SSD hard drives fit it?

It generally doesn't really matter. If you have 4800 and you install 5200, the new one will just run at the slower speed.

Luego de instalarla como en el video , al encender la en el task manager me mostraba los 16gb ,ejecute lenovo vantage para una confirmación de hardware y luego de reiniciar el equipo ya no me reconoce nada en el segundo slot de memoria, y se que rs el slot ya que intercambie las memorias y ambas funcionan bien al colocarlas en el slot 1 , que puefo hacer ?? 😢

On the Crucial website it says up to 64, but on CMD on the device itself it says 32GB. I'm running on 24GB now, waiting for my other 16GB RAM to bump it all the way to 32GB. I usually pay Cities Skylines and GTA V and they both perform buttery smooth
