So as a lot of you have already seen, but we both got “Bangtan” tattooed on us in Korean letters. It means bulletproof and is EXACTLY our mindset and our way of life! We constantly live with the goal to spread positivity and good vibes, and to be bulletproof to anything and anyone negative or trying to bring us down.
We also did a reaction to BTS Live on Jimmy Fallon for BTS week, where they are on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" for Weeklong Special performing every night! We react to BTS Performing IDOL which is our first time hearing BTS perform this song. AGAIN, extremely impressed.

The stage is not a prop. It's Geunjeongjeon (kr: 근정전) which is the Throne Hall in the palace complex. It is where all the government business was done from the late 1300's to late 1500's. The entire palace complex suffered partial destruction in the late 1500's after which many buildings were then rebuilt. Then during the Japanese Occupation in the early 1900's it suffered near total destruction. Since 1990 the Korean government has slowly been working on a complete restoration of the palace complex.

Btw, Idol was released in 2018 and they have performed the song on various Asian awards shows live already. This performance is special because they are at a real palace in Korea while wearing traditional Hanboks.... Even though they have great success with Dynamite in English, I believe they wanted to show the world (people who do not know them yet) how proud they are of their culture and roots. They’ve said in past interviews that they never intended to have a song in English (because people kept asking) but they loved armies so much and wanted to give the world hope, they released Dynamite in English.😊💜

Happy Birthday Jack! The only 2 reasons I could really think of as to why SUGA would be the only one to wear blue is because they wanted to play homage to his royal blood. His ancestors were royalty and his name Yoon-gi symbolizes how high his status is among the Min clan if the monarchy still ruled. If South Korea still had a monarchy he very well could have been emperor (He mentions it in the Korean show Knowing Bros). His solo song "Daechwita" also alludes to it. Daechwita loosely translates into the song that would play as the emperor would visit the city or just leave the palace so everyone would know that he was coming. He also could have just been in blue because he looks good in it lol. SUGA is my ultimate bias if you couldn't tell haha. If you want more recommendations to more groups I would highly recommend SHINee. SHINee is a major influence on a lot of groups today, they are called the princes of kpop. Unfortunately we did loose a member (our angel Jonghyun) to suicide a couple years ago so if you check them out I would listen to some things before we lost him and after. And you have got to listen to more of their solo songs. This comment is already so long (sorry about that), I'll just name some next video lol. By the way I loved the tattoos you guys!

'Chuseok' literally means the 'autumn eve', which is also known as hangawi, its a major harvest festival in South Korea which is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar of the full moon(1st October). This performance was solely dedicated towards the festival. It is most likely that they chose 'IDOL' for this performance since it radiates most of the Korean Culture compared to their other songs~

You should check out their live performance of Save Me and I’m fine. I love that as a performance because it shows this beautiful dichotomy between relying on another person in contrast with picking yourself up on your own and being okay with yourself. There are also super dope compilations of each members best performances/vocals and stuff. It’s all incredible; just fall into the rabbit hole 🤣
