Hey just another thing you didn't mention is often these scammers will have fake links on their profile, like "KZbin" "Twitch" etc, and they only go to the webpages homepage. Also a major thing you forgot to mention is often these scammers will inflate their playtime to seem more legit, I've often been messages by scammers who have 5,000-15,000 hours on cs2 or other games, but its quite easy to tell that it's inflated and not real playtime because they'll usually have 100-300HRs played in the last two weeks. And I have to say probably the most important thing you didn't mention is that these scammers can use skin changers in game, and when they invite you to their queue it'll look like they have howls or dragon lores but if you check their inventory it's either private or doesn't exist. Also they often use fake screenshots to act like they have $10-20,000 inventories when in reality they have nothing.

i used to get trade scammers messaging me all the time but since i set my inventory to private they don't . all i get is a message saying they need a +1 for a tournament that's playing for some money and to log into steam on a link they send.
