The way i had to stop listening at 29 minutes. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt when i disagree with their perspective, but as someone who’s been married for 5 years and with the same man for 10 years, i disagree with so many of his points, and i am NOT man less.

Avoidant attachment style is when you push people away (for example) because you don't want to be hurt again. Usually it starts in childhood when your parents disappointed you, neglected you, etc. The person struggles with their own self worth, not the other way around... I just want to clarify.

Boundaries are necessary in every relationship. But if both parties do not RESPECT each other there is no point of continuing what they had. And some/most people are SINGLE because they don’t want to work on THEMSELVES now yes that process is different for everyone. Appreciated this conversation - I very much resonate with Donni on a number of things. When it comes to the conversation - I have a lot of male friends. They all possess a basic level of respect for women. They call it like they see it from unbiased POVs. They all take full accountability for their part in anything. They are all either married or soon to be/ in long term relationships. On the other side - I know men who are not necessarily my friends (more so acquaintances or family members). These men seek women who will tolerate their issues; lying, cheating, blatant disrespect, dismissive, etc. These men have an ego that does not tolerate being challenged in an intimate relationship. These men will go tit for tat. These men are all single and/ or are consistently in and out of relationships. I always find it interesting that these same men are the ones with the strongest opinions on what a “successful” relationship looks like, what they believe femininity is and are self-proclaimed leaders.
