Identify-Visualize-Choose: A 3-Step Approach to Full Facial Esthetics-driven Smile Design

In this webinar Dr. Jonathan B. Levine, Associate Professor NYU, past director of Advanced Esthetics and author of Smile Design, Integration of Esthetics and Function, Prosthodontist and owner of Jonathan B. Levine & Associates, will provide a high-level overview of a comprehensive three-step approach to smile design; (1) identify the problem, (2) visualize the solution, and (3) choose the appropriate technique.
With a heavy emphasis on leveraging an esthetic evaluation form to start the process, digital dentistry workflows, and observing key best practices around smile design, Dr. Levine has honed a philosophy for predictable esthetic and functional success. He will review the tools that he uses to reach the key objective to begin his process, which is to establish the incisal edge position and the gingival margin of the maxillary central incisor, two crucial landmarks around which the entire case will be designed.
Dr. Levine will also discuss:
• The role of imaging, photos, and a ‘motivational mockup’ video in patient communication and case acceptance
