Sort of. There's no national pedigree registry. It would be simply impossible to keep up with given how many birds are hatched each year. But breeders often keep their own records of the lineage of their birds through various methods. Toe punching is just part of what I do. I've got a video that talks about that and about how I customize my adult birds' leg bands on the channel
