I just found 2 lovely patches of saffron mushrooms in my yard. Some are quite large: 9" diameter! I thought I had correctly identified them, & your video confirmed my identification of them. Thanks so much!

Your channel is so underrated! I can't find HQ and good focused videos on KZbin. Majority of videos are either have low resolution or overbright because of the sun. Thank you for sharing!

How cool! I've seen this one before and tried a long time to identify it with no luck. I have found a lactarius indigo and positively identified it. I didn't eat it sadly. I had to study on it a while to make certain that was what I found and that it couldn't be something else. It went bad before I was sure. Next time I'm trying it.

Very nice video and nicely explained. I was strolling through the mainly oak forest few days ago and suddenly i saw these under a tree while i was on my way home following a river that goes through the forest and i looked up and i see giant pine tree in the middle of of a deciduous forest.. i was very surprised to say the least :). I picked some of them, they are holding out well, i still do not know what to do with them, got any ideas, perhaps?

Just trying to identify a mushroom. When i cut through the stem it bleeds bright orange. Im thinking it must be a saffron milk cap. The stipe is hollow with orange spots.
