I love these identifying & foraging videos 💚 I agree with letting all Gods creatures live other than food & unless they attack me then they are fair game.... I wonder what Titus views are on self defense. Thank you Stephanie for making these videos 👍

Titus I really enjoy all of your videos Buddy you need to come down south and go crawfishing. A person like yourself who enjoys the outdoors would have fun catching crawfish. Ask Peter he came down south and caught and made a video about it.

Are you in Louisiana? Like the Atchafalaya Basin? Just curious, I grew up there where there’s plenty of crawfish! Titus may not be able to afford that trip, but then he might, but it’s a long ride on a donkey. But, introduce him to catching crawfish and a crawfish boil, I think you might snag him! Don’t let him get away without eating crawfish pie!!!! If you are in South Louisiana, you’d also need to introduce him to boudin as well as hot links! Where he experiences the life, he may not leave, unless summer with heat and humidity come around!😂😂😂😂

Stinging nettles are my favorite wild harvest. The dried leaves add a great source of vitamin C and important minerals cooked in soups and stews. Especially in winter when fresh sources are harder to find.

Must be hotter than a two- dollar pistol in that region. 🥵 I sat out in the porch for almost an hour and was getting lightheaded. We are all recovering from Covid here. It'd sure would be good to get some of those therapeutic leaves 🍃 to make tea 🍵 😌 and feel better. Would really appreciate prayers for husband, David, sister, mom, and I, Lina.❤

Is that flat rock wall south southwest facing? If it were, glass it in and grow tropical fruit trees and such! Double glazed! It’d probably only need a little help staying warm!

🙏✌️. burl (American English) or burr (British English) is a tree growth in which the grain has grown in a deformed manner. It is commonly found in the form of a rounded outgrowth on a tree trunk or branch that is filled with small knots from dormant buds. Burl formation is typically a result of some form of stress such as an injury or a viral or fungal infection. Burls yield a very peculiar and highly figured wood sought after in woodworking, and some items may reach high prices on the wood market. Poaching of burl specimens and damaging the trees in the process poses a problem in some areas.

A burl results from a tree undergoing some form of stress. It may be caused by an injury, virus or fungus.[1] Most burls grow beneath the ground, attached to the roots as a type of malignancy that is generally not discovered until the tree dies or falls over. Such burls sometimes appear as groups of bulbous protrusions connected by a system of rope-like roots. Almost all burl wood is covered by bark, even if it is underground. Insect infestation and certain types of mold infestation are the most common causes of this condition.
