Identity Crisis - Elizabeth Muguchu

Who are you? A daughter/son, spouse, parent, employee, friend to…. These are the easiest answers to give when asked who you are. At first she was the daughter of Muguchu, then a wife, in-law, mother, student, widow,back to being Muguchu’s daughter, career woman…..Like many of us, her roles in society defined her identity. With each role change, her identity changed. She realised she was a photocopy of everyone and an original of no one. In this talk, Elizabeth Muguchu candidly talks about shedding other identities in a quest to find her own. So we ask again. Who are you?
