That guy with his cat is amazing. My childhood cat died at 19...we grew up together and he was my best friend. I also used to take care of my neighbor’s cats for around ten years. I fell in love with them. But when one of them died, the other simply wasted away and died a month later. It was heartbreaking. This man’s love for his cat has kept her going. He’s wonderful and his love for Sadie is completely understandable. An amazing person and a lovely cat ❤️

Aw, the love the guy had for his 18 year old cat! Really hope she can hit 20 years! It is sweet the love he has for his cat, even if some may think it's "over the top". The cat adores him back, no one is getting hurt, and if anything, Sadie just gets lots and lots and lots of love! It should only be an issue if people's love for their pets causes someone to get hurt, like the hoarders that have tons of cats that end up getting neglected.

When I was 2 years old my mom gave birth to my second sister who I named Chookie! Being of Scottish descent on my mom's side I must have thought my mom had gotten me a chicken! I called her Chook for short. To this day she hates that name. I turned 86 on January 3rd, 2023. I hear the word chook almost every time I see one of my very favorite "shows" Bondi Vets on my computer! I would love to come down to Australia someday to visit with all of you. I live in Auburn, Washington, USA. Thank you, Tim, Chris, and all the rest of you for putting "Bondi Vets" on the internet!

I got two perfect cats after mine died when I was 18. Two perfect cats going strong at 37. The one time one couldn't stand up all of a sudden I immediately called out of work and took him to the vet nearly every person I worked with said it's just a cat you should have been there for us. I said they were there before you and will probably last longer too with that disregard for life. He almost did die but after two types of antibiotics he's very much alive just very expensive. I no longer have that job but I still have my cats.

My cindolences. 22 years, wow, what a bond you must have had. I hope you get another cat before too long. Not to replace Bobaloo, but to give another cat a home, too have that feline presence underpining the energy of your home, because you will cime to love another in a way different from your lice for Bobaloo, and because I'm sure Bobaloo would want you to. I got Snicker when he was six. He passed in September at 17, I miss him 🙁. Two weeks later a local church reached out needing to re-home a stray they'd been feeding. Molly Mae is very different from Snicker, but we are getting to know each other and I already wouldn't be without her.

As a responsible pet owner, please take your kitten to the vet ASAP as it needs to be vaccinated against many common feline diseases. If you take good care of your cat’s medical health then it should hopefully live a long time and give you many years of joy. Its vaccines will also need to be renewed as directed by your vet. Please also get your pet spayed as soon as your vet tells you to do so. 😻
