Okay, most people said it is based on the rumor surrounding Paganini. To be specific, it's about the rumor that his soul was sold to a devil which gave him the gift to see music and be this really skilled musician. So it makes sense that the translation said that he does not accept it, but everytime he tries to end it, he's pushed back to playing, he is made to immerse himself into it. He can see the rhythm of the world, but he has no control of how he plays. And since as players, we control the characters in matches... are we the devil?

He knew he would only live to about 30 so he tried to live his life to the fullest. He became noticed by the royal family and was asked to play for them. The royal family realised he had a bad drinking problem and was in debt so they offered him money in exchange for him being their private, royal violinist. Music was typically only available for the rich in the 1800s , the time when idv is set. He refused because he wanted to share his music with the world. This made the royal family angry so they took his violin and locked him in a cell. They said that he would regain his freedom if he played a 1 string melody which would posess him. He refused again and not much is known from that point in his deducations for a while. Soon the royal family says he can play his final concert. They give him a violin and trick him. The violin that they give him is made that all but one string would snap. He plays the concert as a soloist but the violin's strings snap and he is forced to play the one string melody which makes him posessed. This is sad because many people believe he wanted this. I know he's fictional but I would say he is the most innocent out of all the hunters and was basically tricked. Sheesh I wrote a lot. Also this is based entirely on his new deducations.

@@jxmlentine i’m pretty sure he had a problem with gambling and alcohol but his music made up for it so he was able to become part of the royal orchestra. they pushed him too far to the point where he was malnourished. he could only continue working if he was able to play with one string, which they thought was impossible. then i think someone screwed with his violin, causing him to be possessed by the devil. what’s confusing is that his introduction animation and his deductions don’t really match up. i’m not 100% on the details but since i finished his deductions, this is what i’m going off of ^-^

I’m curious about the red figure. From what I know each hunter had been through something in their lives except for a few, but they would all be invited to the manor as well as luring survivors with something they desire most other than money like the Gardner for example.
