Btw you can stun hunter on the first floor when you are on the second floor by attraction and pull the hunter to the ceiling and thus stunning the hunter

Can I add something that you probably have t said? I do this as a Prospector main but not everyone can completely do it. I sometimes throw a magnet down in front of a pallet and attract the hunter to me. When I do that sometimes they’re stunned directly in the pallet so I can then stun them with a pallet too. I find that very useful in some cases. I just wanted to say but it takes practice to be able to get it every time or to get in cases when you’re kiting. It’s like multitasking since you have to consider the hunters position and your position when they pick up the magnet. Also I wouldn’t throw a magnet down as soon as someone is knocked to ballon save them since some hunters will notice that and make you use your magnet. In the end you used the magnet for nothing bc now you have no magnets. I think tide turner is good for norton too since I rescue with him half the time

I wanna add that he’s useful against hunters other survivors can’t really do anything against. Like Ann or gamekeeper. For Ann when she puts her cats down I throw a magnet at her so when she stuns me I repel her away and I no longer have the cat on me so I can get away. This doesn’t ALWAYS work for gamekeeper but when he gets his hook ready I throw a magnet at him so when he pulls me towards him I repel away but it doesn’t always work since some are smart and hit you before your magnet activates. I don’t know if this’ll help at all but he’s good at kiting against hunters other survivors are hopeless against.

repulsion can be very effective in a certain situation harassing a hunter with a ballooned surv if you don't have something to get behind align yourself with anything honestly throw the magnet, and it might not save completely but it will waste time for the Hunter or make them panic and throw them at the ground to not let them escape

The reason hunters always single out prospector at end of match is bc if Prospector was good then they definitely were the most annoying and frustrating survivor and hunter has to make them pay.

Rin I’ve seen you do sick balloon rescues in your rank streams as Prospector and then continue to stun the hunter while the other survivor gets away. Is there a specific timing or trick to get the hunter to pick up the magnet instead of the survivor right after the balloon rescue? When I use my second magnet half the time I end up sabotaging my own team mates and stunning them instead 😂😂😂

U need to plan it ahead of time for ur second magnet. Where r u going to restun the hunter? That’s the only question u need to answer. For the magnet hitting survivor, trying throwing the magnet where only edge hits the hunter, so u don’t accidentally hit the survivor. In the end, it all takes practice. Let me know if u need more help
