Good question, first advice is to join our discord, it can be found on our leaderboard page. There you can ask any question you might have, and it will very likely be answered. Second is if you are on PC, always use keyboard and mouse. Controller puts you at a disadvantage. To speedrun (this game) you need patience, resilience and anger management. If you have speedrun something else before then you might already have those. We don't have all that many guides available at the moment, but if a guide for a specific trick or level is requested, i will make one with varying degrees of difficulty. Im not all that good with bulletpoints, but joining the discord and asking questions there will get you pretty far.

How do you run so fast when jumping if you don't know thats fine

I do something called bunnyhopping. To bunnyhop in this game is to move diagonally (left and forwards or right and forwards), while making relative adjustments with the camera, and ofcourse holding jump the entire time. You see it pretty clear at 4:11 and you can see my inputs at the bottom right. That is for PC with keyboard and mouse, but on a console with a controller you cant quite get the same effect. One reason being that holding the stick diagonally is not going to achieve the same speed as A and W for example on a keyboard. You can bunnyhop with a controller in almost the same fashion, but it is more complicated and i do not have enough experience with it to explain.

Just because YOU can't jump that far, doesn't mean it's not possible. There are 127 speedrunners of this game, and most in the top 75 can do some of the jumps i have done in this video. The video is not sped up at all, maybe it is on your youtube player.
