My father just suffered a debilitating injury and is currently paralyzed. I intended on activating voice control so he could independently use his device while recovering. Learned quick voice control wouldn't unlock the device. Thank you for sharing this, the man is going to be ecstatic. Thank you

2 things. Mine keeps saying, “Sorry, I couldn’t understand what you were saying.” I speak clearly. I’m sometimes, I can see that it actually has what I said on the screen but still says that. Secondly, sometimes I want to unlock my phone, lets say I’m sitting on the throne and I want to start listening to music. Siri says that I need to unlock my phone first but I can’t get to the phone as I left it on the table - still have in my AirPods. I tried adding a slide up gesture to get the number pad but Siri keeps saying she doesn’t understand.

The reason it’s opening the camera is because you missed tapping ‘Save’ the first when you recorded the gesture and so it recorded the extra tap..
