From my understanding of Idia when I was getting to know him that he is a blunt and sharp tongue type of guy. So his choice of words were more funny what came out of his mouth. Well he is a very rude boy. But his home screen lines imply he likes Yuu at least a bit (he said that Yuu is easy to get along with or somthing alone those lines) and he loves Grim. Also, in one of his bday lines he talks about wanting to see if he could use his bday as an excuse to pet Grim. So I think they just forgot to have Idia talk about them, especially since Yuu has no physical description and Idia was very focused on describing the characters as they came in.
