In the HISTORY of Musical Theater (which is actually lengthy) I cannot think of two female singers/actresses who have been so completely complimentary and in sync with each other as Chenzel. Their chemistry was unduplicatable, & their harmonies blend flawlessly. They are Glinda & Elphaba. Without them, Wicked wouldn't be the cultural phenomena it is today.......

First.... BIG THANK YOU to the uploader for putting this on KZbin! I'm only learning about "Wicked" now (largely due to 'Frozen' and Idina Menzel). Totally surprised at how great the audio quality is and how amazing Kristin and Idina are here..... sung with so much heart and emotion. They are so in sync. Brings tears to my eyes. I can't imagine anyone else in the roles of Glinda and Elphaba for the upcoming big screen "Wicked" film. Idina said they've been told they may be too old by the time shooting begins. I say nonsense. Idina and Kristin look great. Cast others to play Elphie and Glinda at younger ages and let Idina and Kristin play them older as someone suggested somewhere else on KZbin if that's what'll take.

Did they switch harmonies?!? At 5:02 Idina gives her a little nod and a smile, then at 5:05 Idina goes low and Kristin stays high! They switched! Maybe that's why they are all giggles towards the end. OH YOU TWO

They giggled because during every show Kristin would run her fingers along Idinas Hat so out of habit she went to go do it and realized it wasn't there. And touched her scarf instead I believe. Those two have an amazing relationship

They didnt switch harmonies, Idina stays high and kristen stays low if you listen :) and I'm pretty sure they laughed because at Idina's "because I knew you" she's meant to hit a higher note, but she just did the normal tune. Listen to another version of them singing and you'll hear it ahha!

I totally agree with you. This is my dedication to my grandmother. She passed away two years ago in October. I still miss her dearly. She raised me from the day I was brought home from the hospital, and she truly will be with me like a handprint on my heart. And so much of me is truly made of what I have learned from her.
