my first wicked was with kerry ellis at the Apollo Theatre...when i knew nothing about the show. i was mesmerized...and as much as i love the original cast album, i always think about ellis as elphaba...great to see/hear this duo.

This is the transfer I wish would have happened when Wicked opened in London. Not to say Idina didn't do a great job, but this pairing would have been incredible. Their voices go so well together.

All singers lose accents when singing. It has to do with pronunciation of the lyrics and how much air they let out when singing.

Because when you sing, you need to sing open vowel sounds - which makes one sound more on the 'posh' side.

For non-american's it's all about pronouncing the R's for this piece and in other pieces would be making sure to pronounce words like last, chance, dance, France, demand, etc, the american way.

Your video is the closest to the stage which is nice but it is amazing how good the audio is on most people's videos. I am sure that this was a real winner for the audience with Kerry Ellis's appearance.

Bee Nadal It's a combination of botox (which she started using for her migranes) along with rhinoplasty and cheek implants - yes, she's 42 and trying to stay as young looking as possible (in order to keep competing for some roles) - but it also has the side effect of giving her a plastic look. (Btw - Kristen herself admitted to plastic surgery so don't blame me - I'm just the messenger.)

Ellis’ voice is interesting but most of it is breathy snd does not project evenly. The top belt voice , which is there, is oddly at odds with an undeveloped head voice with lackluster projection. Maybe she had a cold .
