I grew up with beaches as it's my mum's favourite film and wicked is the reason I got into acting I would love to see her sing both these songs live with me being there but she hardly comes to the UK and when she does I can never afford it I wish I could see idol live and sing the song that changed my life (defying gravity) 💚💚💚

That's the first time in ages she managed to pull off the "MeeeEEE down" riff! She usually pauses in between to take a breath instead of bringing the me higher! And she also extended it like she used to do later in Broadway and all throughout London with like 2 exceptions! That was a pleasant surprise

I agree. That cape belongs to Let It Go. Although the new Defying Gravity arrangement didn't win me over, Menzel did a very good job creating her version of Wind Beneath my Wings. It's hard to do that with such a well known song by the divine Bette Midler.

Katy's Draft while I agree that there are others with stronger voices, I believe Idina makes a better Elphaba. Voices are only part of being Elphaba and Idina plays Elphaba much more naturally than anyone I've ever seen. This is not a good example of Idinas ability and it would be completely unfair to judge someone for one performance (especially since she's not trying to be Elphaba here). It's completely pointless to argue about an opinion since it's exactly that, an opinion. What was the purpose of making your comment in the first place? You're not offering anything but a passive aggressive "sorry not sorry".

She's a Broadway legend. Literally nobody here knows what you're talking about. To say someone who is a Broadway legend did their best work on a brief stint in a high school oriented show is absolutely laughable. I've seen her live and she's absolutely remarkable.
