@@manuelorozco7760 while it is true, the story starts and ends on Christmas Eve while going through an entire year. Not enough evidence? A handful of Christmas references throughout Act 1 with one song called Christmas Bells. Act 2 how Mark mentioned last year's Christmas Eve on the day of Angel's funeral, how Roger found Mimi's song and went back to New York just in time for Christmas. If those aren't convincing enough...Roger's song to Mimi had her come back to life from that one moment of her death making her ability to breathe again a Christmas miracle since it happened on Christmas Eve. While yes Rent is a timeless classic that can be viewed anytime...it's story and plot lines can make Rent count as a Christmas musical and movie.

That's awesome Idina decided to do her own version. Seasons of Love was the first song I ever loved from Rent! This cover is so beautiful. But it would have been better if Idina kept "In Truth that she learned or in times that he cries" etc. Good Job
