I've been learning English as a second language for over fifteen years and there's still so much I need to learn and improve upon. This kind of idiom usually takes some time to grasp, much like phrasal verbs, and I think you did a good job explaining it. I've always wanted to have a job related to the English language but it's too difficult where I live. I like translating and I've taught the language to other people too, but I'm not as good at that. Anyway, nice job :)
